Glassy Eyed Mosaics is a wonderful place to learn about the art of mosaics. Whether you’re a beginner or an accomplished artist, you will find so much material to work with. You don’t need to bring anything or buy anything for class because she has a huge amount of any materials participants need. Suzanne is an amazing teacher. She’s patient, collaborative and encouraging. Everyone who comes to class leaves with something wonderful that they’ve created.
I recently traveled from Knoxville to Suzanne’s studio outside of Nashville to attend a class. I felt as though my spark of working with mosaics had diminished somewhat but working with Suzanne, she reignited my passion. Her studio is very comfortable and she is very welcoming. She has tons of supplies and makes you feel right at home. I will definitely make the trip back to attend another class. She is a very talented artist.
I've been wanting to try my hand at doing mosaics for some time. I sure got lucky when I took a chance with Suzanne / Glassy Eyed Mosaics. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Suzanne is a wonderful instructor. I can't wait to get back to TN and get back in the studio!

I went to a workshop in the fall with my daughter. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from Suzanne that allowed me to create a beautiful mosaic piece that I cherish. Her ability to inspire my creativity made me feel confident.
I absolutely loved attending a mosaic workshop at Suzanne's studio. The studio is charming and full of treasures that Suzanne makes available to her students to use for their pieces. She is so passionate not only about mosaics, but also about showing others the beauty of creating mosaics. She is a fabulous teacher and is great at balancing her students while still giving them full artistic freedom. During the class Suzanne told us of her travels around the world, learning from different mosaic artists and being inspired by various landscapes and cultures. It was such a joy to get to spend the day creating a beautiful Mosaic with Suzanne at her studio. I hope to come again soon with a group of friends for a birthday or just a fun family activity. 10/10 would recommend! -
